South Platte Through Denver
Colorado Skies Outfitters is the pioneering guide service when it comes to fly fishing the South Platte below Chatfield Reservoir all the way through Downtown Denver. We are very proud of the amazing fishery we have so close to home. The trout population through town is comprised primarily of healthy hard fighting rainbows with the occasional lunker brown trout. We also specialize in guided carp fishing trips for those wanting to test both their angling skills and gear!

Dream Stream, Eleven Mile, Antero and Spinney Mountain Reservoir
For those looking to do the Tour De South Park, CO this area is home to very large fish. The Dream Stream has annual migrations of brown trout in the fall and rainbow trout in the spring. These fish moving out of Eleven Mile reservoir will often push the tape measure at over 30″ inches. Summer dry fly fishing can be phenomenal in the mornings with the trico hatch. All three reservoirs in the area also produce steady fly fishing action.

Clear Creek
Clear Creek is a great beginner’s stretch of water through the summer months. The browns, rainbows, cutthroat and brook trout average 6-14 and are often eager to eat. Much larger fish are possible in our private water sections of Clear Creek.
Bear Creek
Bear Creek is another tributary of the South Platte and is a close half day option for those seeking less crowds, and small creek type fishing with dry flies.
