Get to know the Guide

Kevin Mackey

Kevins first fly fishing experience was popping for blue gills on Michigan farm ponds. Family trips to the Rockies exposed him to fly fishing western rivers and Yellowstone Cutthroats. The chance to study Geology in Wyoming through the University of Michigan set the course for his degree choice, meeting his wife and eventually settling in Denver. Kevin experienced early retirement in Cody, Wyoming as his wife began her career, fishing the Shoshone drainage, trips into Yellowstone and other NW Wyoming rivers. Kevins job history is as varied as his fishing experience, and like fishing tales, is best told around the campfire.
